Regent Resources (UK) Limited is developing some challenging online
software systems to help the Small and Medium Enterprises in getting
maximum advantage of Internet and Web Technologies. The systems under
development are Online Accounting System, Online Payroll System, Online
Project & Bugs Management System, Online Recruitment & Jobs
System and Online Content Management System.
These systems are being developed on Linux platform in PHP and MySQL
and we plan to use Java, XML and latest tools to make these systems
secure and stable. We may even develop these systems as n-tier online
systems using MS technologies such as ASP and SQL-Server. These systems
will be marketed as Hosted Services and also as Products which can
be implemented on client servers / intranets.
These systems are under development at our development partner's development
centre in India and we need the software developers who have experience
in development / implementation of similar system in the UK / EU markets.
The main responsibilities would be to interact with our local clients
in the UK / EU to understand their existing systems and prepare the
technical specifications to be sent to developers in India.
Minimum Education of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering and
External Certification such as Sun Certification in Java or Brainbench
certification are essential for this challenging position.
Minimum experience of development of 2 to 3 years in the above technologies
and strong understanding of business accounting / payroll systems
for the UK markets will be essential.
The persons selected for this position will be required to be in constant
touch with the clients in the UK and also the developers in India
and therefore, if you have knowledge of Indian languages such as Hindi,
Gujarati, Marathi it will be an advantage, thought not a must.
Please note that the recruitment process may involve a technical test
in PHP / Java / ASP / .NET and also in Accountancy / Payroll etc.
